Howard Steel serves the entire state of Michigan and specializes in structural steel, steel joist and deck, steel erection, steel rolling and conveyor fabrications. We also work with other miscellaneous metals including stainless steel and aluminum.

Structural Steel Fabrication
Howard Steel has the ability to fabricate jobs of various sizes and types. Whether it be a small job or a complicated job using BIM modeling, we can fabricate steel to meet the needs of the client.

We fabricate angle, flat bar, plate, embeds, beams, columns, tube, channel and lintels. Members range from simply cutting down an angle to building intricate designs. The fabricated products are used on a wide variety of projects statewide.

Our shop size allows us to run multiple jobs at once to meet your needs.

Python X Structural Fabrication
In 2018 we installed the Lincoln Electric Python X CNC-Plasma cutting fabricator. This machine allows us to make precision cuts, holes, slots and other fabrication elements to the exact specifications of the drawings while also decreasing fabrication time.

Miscellaneous Steel Fabrication
In addition to structural steel, we also fabricate numerous miscellaneous and ornamental steel items such as stairs, handrails, gates and balconies to name a few.

In addition to steel items, we also fabricate items made from both stainless steel and aluminum. We have also incorporated items with decorative iron and glass.

Steel Rolling
Howard Steel's state-of-the-art Roll Division is the largest roll shop north of Detroit. We are capable of rolling most any structural steel, as well as angle, pipe and flat bar.
